Bohemian Cottage Retreat

In the debut episode of MTV3's 'Kotoisa' program, a cottage garden was transformed into a relaxed and functional summer paradise for a family with children. The bohemian flagstone pathways and the rag rug pier stand out as gems in this outdoor space.

Life at the cottage with young children was less than ideal, as the outdoor spaces and facilities didn't align with the needs of the indoor activities. The breeziness of the property also presented some challenges. To address these issues, the design of the cottage garden was tailored to accommodate the specific requirements of its inhabitants. Given that it was a family with kids, the primary goal was to create a garden that brought joy to all, making the cottage experience as enjoyable as possible. This involved crafting spaces for communal gatherings and dedicated areas for both children and adults to have their own private moments.
